The Child Protection programs enhance the ability of Syrian society to tolerate the negative impacts related to the Syrian crisis. In addition to support and improved quality of life for those in need of psychological aid to deal with psychological and social constraints resulting from the conflict.

Seven psycho-social support units were established inside Syria, in addition to one unit inside Suruj refugees camp in Turkey.

The Hope of Syria

It is a psycho-social support activity, directed to orphan or indigent Syrian children, in partnership with Innovast Technology, to be implemented during the weekly educational schedule through the robot programming activity, to apply what the child learns in mathematics, physics, science, and geography in partnership with his team, under the supervision of specialists from the company.

Implementation mechanism

The project targets 300 Syrian children during the school year 2015/2016 at the following schools:

  • Tariq al-Mostaqbal school for orphans in Gaziantep.
  • Educational Cultural Institute in Gaziantep.
  • Masha’el al-Ghad school for orphans in Kilis.

At the same time of the project implementation in the mentioned schools, a staff of specialists is being trained and rehabilitated in order to implement it in Syria within the liberated areas.
